Poetry by Rumi
There is a candle in your heart...
There is a candle in your heart,
ready to be kindled.
There is a void in your soul,
ready to be filled.
You feel it, don't you ?
You feel the separation
from the Beloved.
Invite Him to fill you up ,
embrace the fire.
Remind those who tell you otherwise that
Love
comes to you of its own accord,
and the yearning for it
cannot be learned in any school.

your heart. Who looks outside, dreams. Who looks inside, awakens"
Carl Jung
"When one door of happiness
closes, another opens; but often we look so long at the closed door that we do not see the one which has opened for us"
Helen Keller
You yourself, as much as anybody in the entire universe, deserve your love and affection.

"Peace is not a relationship of
nations. It is a condition of mind brought about by a serenity of soul. Peace is not merely the absence of war. It is also a state of mind.
Lasting peace can come only to peaceful people."

The master does her best and lets go, and whatever happens, happens."

Happiness is inward and
not outward;
and so it does not depend on what we have,
but on what we are.

How do you get a peaceful mind?
There are many ways to create a peaceful mind.
My favorite way, accepting what is.
Life happens, you can argue with reality, wish reality were different now, think life should be different now.
The problem with this is, life happens. And as much as you argue with the way it is, it still is that way.
It doesn't mean you cannot take action to create a different occurrence of life in the future, but if you
accept what is now, you will have peace.
Having a Peaceful mind also means not judging.
What does judging mean?
Almost everything you think, is a judgment. We like to tell ourselves that we are describing what is, but the problem is, it
isn't.
We are giving our judgment of what we think is. You are saying what you think it is and what people should be,
and what they should do, and how the world should be.
Our Deepest Fear
Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light, not our darkness
That most frightens us.
We ask ourselves
Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?
Actually, who are you not to be?
You are a child of God.
Your playing small
Does not serve the world.
There's nothing enlightened about shrinking
So that other people won't feel insecure around you.
We are all meant to shine,
As children do.
We were born to make manifest
The glory of God that is within us.
It's not just in some of us;
It's in everyone.
And as we let our own light shine,
We unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.
As we're liberated from our own fear,
Our presence automatically liberates others.
